19th Century Slip-Decorated Red Earthenware Pitcher Rediscovered by Historic Beverly in Massachusetts

This is really cool! I had gone through what I thought was all of Historic Beverly's storage area in Massachusetts a few years back in preparation for writing my first book, titled, The Beverly Pottery: The Wares of Charles A. Lawrence. However, Historic Beverly just informed me yesterday that they rediscovered this circa 1860s slip-decorated red earthenware pitcher tucked away in storage with some of the museum's dinnerware! 

Furthermore, Historic Beverly's main museum building, the four-floor John Cabot House (built in 1781) has gone through extensive renovations in the last year, and sometime in the near future, a section of the house will be devoted to the pottery made by Charles Lawrence.
