Stay tuned for more details - although we are working on how the front and back covers of my forthcoming two-volume, 1,350-page, Western New York book will appear, titled, America's Great Awakening and Migration: The Red Earthenware of Western New York. The proof copies will be back from the printer soon, and I am anticipating a spring or early summer publication date. This is the ninth and tenth books in my pottery book series.
I am really excited over this publication; it thoroughly covers production in Western New York, but there is also a section that covers red earthenware made elsewhere in New York State and New York City. Like the previous installments in my pottery book series - the focus of the Western New York book is archaeology, although there is a lot more information! There is also a lot of never before published objects from museum collections and longtime private collections in Western New York.
