Seen Last Week at the Antique Shows in Brimfield, Massachusetts!

This is an object that caught my attention last week while visiting the antique shows in Brimfield, Massachusetts! I suspect this late eighteenth century stoneware jug is German in origin. I was also told that it was found as part of an estate clean out in southern Connecticut. Although, I found the cobalt design on the front of it interesting, seeing that it kind of reminded me of a face; eyes, nose and a mouth.
