This was a surprising discovery that recently emerged from an estate in Southern California; this is a circa 1870s-1880s business envelope from the A.H. Hews & Company in North Cambridge, Massachusetts, a manufacturer of various types of pottery, which is addressed to Moses B. Paige (ca. 1847/48-1941) in Peabody, Massachusetts. This leads me to believe that there was likely some business that took place between the two pottery companies.
