I am not going to provide an attribution for this object today; although, I will say that this object is extremely well made, and it was likely made in Maine during the circa 1840-1860 period. This is a rare form to find today, but it is even rarer to find this form decorated in such a colorful glaze.
Note: The base appears to be covered in a fatty substance, which likely indicates how this object was used in the nineteenth-century.
