Northeastern Red Earthenware: Now Available in Massachusetts

If anyone is looking for very good examples of New England or Western New York red earthenware, these four pieces are currently up for grabs at Antiques Associates at West Townsend, Massachusetts.

Left to right, we have: a nineteenth century jug likely out of New Hampshire; a  late eighteenth or early nineteenth slip-decorated jar from the Hartford, Connecticut area; a nineteenth century Ontario County, New York jar complete with its original lid; and a late eighteenth or early nineteenth century jar from Bristol County, Massachusetts.
