A Good 19th Century Red Earthenware Dog from Pennsylvania that Sold Today in California

A good nineteenth century red earthenware figure of a seated dog sold today at John Moran Auctioneers in Monrovia, California. The dog was made in Pennsylvania sometime during the mid to late nineteenth century, however the manufacturer is not known. Although, the sale did include a selection of American red earthenware from various manufacturers in the Northeast, but the dog was the most significant object from the collection.
