A 20th Century Blue Glazed Earthenware Vase from North Carolina Found Yesterday in the Boston Area

I found this circa 1940s or so hand-thrown earthenware vase attributed to the Cole family in North Carolina with a great spotted blue glaze in a vintage type group shop yesterday in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I suspect this shape was inspired after Asian design, whereas interestingly, pottery made by the Cole family was intermittently shipped to Cambridge in the 1900s.
