George Ohr Story Published in the April 30, 1896 Issue of The Boston Globe

Published in the April 30, 1896 issue of The Boston Globe is a fascinating story, titled, Good Stories For All, Ohr of Biloxi, the Palissy of Mississippi, where it is written that "...but there is none more interesting than a certain original potter, by name George E. Ohr, and by his own account "a struggling genius hid in the Mississippi saplings."...Mr. Ohr's extended mustache undoubtedly measures two feet from tip to tip...for in general he ties his moustache back around his ears...occasionally among the tiers on tiers of jugs and vases and pitchers which are arranged around the walls of the rude pottery one finds what its maker describes as a freak...the man has the true instinct of an artist."

Nonetheless, this article is a good read!
