19th Century Red Earthenware Jar Discovered Today in Brimfield, Massachusetts

I also purchased a nineteenth century red earthenware jar today in Brimfield, Massachusetts from a dealer based in New Hampshire, who reportedly discovered the jar in Maine. This jar was appealing since the form and glaze closely resemble a few jars in my personal collection that I believe were made at the industry in North Yarmouth, Maine, circa 1790-1900.

North Yarmouth's industry in also a subject that I have written a feature story about, which should be published later this year in the New England Antiques Journal.
