A Good 19th Century Red Earthenware Jar Recently Found in the Portland, Maine Area

This is a good nineteenth century red earthenware jar that I saw yesterday at an antique show in Hampton, New Hampshire, whereas this jar was recently found in the Portland, Maine area. It is also a type of production that I associate with wares made in North Yarmouth, Maine in the 1800s, which is a community located a few miles to the north of Portland.

For more information about these types of jars and the industry in the Yarmouth and Portland area - see my seventh book, titled, From One Town Came Many: The Red Earthenware Industry of North Yarmouth, Maine: https://historicbeverly.net/product/94597/.
