This is a circa 1880s trade card from the C.A. Lawrence Pottery in Beverly, Massachusetts that showed up on eBay last week; I believe it was purchased by Historic Beverly. The seller's Buy It Now listing stated that the card was found in Connecticut.
Furthermore, this is only the second trade card that I have seen from the the C.A. Lawrence Pottery, which advertises itself as "Manufacturers of Domestic Earthenware and Flower Pots, also Antique Pottery. Wholesale dealer in Stone, Rockingham, Yellow Ware and Drain Pipe."
For more information - see the first book in my ongoing book series, titled, The Beverly Pottery: The Wares of Charles A. Lawrence: https://historicbeverly.net/product/the-beverly-pottery-the-wares-of-charles-a-lawrence/.
