A Late 19th Century Picture of Factory Workers Outside of a "Pottery Works" with a Pencil Drawing of a Kiln on the Back

This is a really cool discovery that was recently found in an old estate in the Boston area, whereas, to my knowledge, this is an undocumented late nineteenth century picture of a group of factory workers that are standing outside a pottery business. The sign above the doorway reads, “Pottery Works.” Furthemore, a pencil drawing of a kiln is on the back of the picture.

Does anyone recognize anything about this image that could be used in identifying the location? At the least, I suspect this is an American factory.
