New Published Story: Early Red Earthenware & Stoneware Found on Staten Island

As I wrote yesterday, "Published in the current January 31, 2020 issue of Antiques & the Arts Weekly is a research story I wrote about red earthenware and stoneware found on Staten Island in New York City in the 1700s and 1800s. Some colonial production is covered, but the majority of the wares date from the late-eighteenth and nineteenth century period. This is when utilitarian pottery was abundant on the island because of the expanding population after the Revolutionary War."
