Pipkin Featured in the June 27, 2019 Issue of the Digital Antiques Journal

A few months ago, I posted a story showing a wonderful nineteenth century red earthenware pipkin from New England that I had just acquired. I purchased the pipkin in the booth of Gabe Ficht at Salt Marsh Antiques in Rowley, Massachusetts. From my experience, this is quite a rare form to find today, although it was produced in New England but there are not many examples that have survived.

This pipkin then went on to be featured in a story published in the June 27, 2019 issue of the Digital Antiques Journal. Here is a link to the full story.
