Nevertheless, this is another object that I acquired over the weekend from Massachusetts antiques collector and dealer, Gabe Ficht. I suspect that this pipkin was made in either Massachusetts or northern New England. Although, I do not currently have anymore information that I can provide into its exact origin. But I am thrilled to have acquired this rare form in such a beautiful glaze, which also survives in wonderful condition. I also want to note that the lid appears to be original to the pot.
