I just retuned from vacation with my nephew Jason where we viewed some wonderful pottery collections as well as great museum exhibits that spanned from North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Pennsylvania and New York City. I will be writing about a lot of this information in the next few weeks, along with objects that we picked up in our travels.
However, one of the stops during our trip was the Lititz, Pennsylvania Historical Foundation's 57th Annual Antique Show, which opened yesterday and runs through today.
On our way out of the antique show, we picked up the June 28, 2019 issue of Antiques & Auction News that features a story I wrote about the nineteenth and twentieth century Stahl family pottery in Powder Valley, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
