For anyone interested -- The Cambridge, Massachusetts City Clerk’s Office has reached a major preservation milestone by launching its first round of historical legislative records for online public access. Beginning May 1, 2026, the community can explore over 85,000 digital items on a newly developed record viewing platform, including documents that have been shielded from public view for more than a century. This initiative is part of the broader Massachusetts 250 campaign, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by highlighting revolutionary milestones and increasing the transparency of our collective history.
