A Variety of Twentieth Century Pottery Made in North Carolina Found Throughout New England Over the Past Four or Five Months

My niece Alexis and myself have picked our way through New England over the past four or five months in search of good pottery made in North Carolina in the 1900s. We've visited shops, shows and flea markets in search of these types of wares, basically visiting parts of each state in the region. 

I have previously posted articles to this website showing some of our exciting finds - however, today's post recaps the rest of the pottery we found. Some of these objects have also already been posted to a private Facebook Group called Just North Carolina Pottery to 1975.

The first object I posted is an early 20th century glass alkaline glazed blue edge decorated stoneware bowl with pinched Asian style handles that was made at the Hilton Pottery in Marion, North Carolina. The remainder of the objects can be seen in the photos below.
