A Newly Acquired Green Glazed Jar from Bristol County, Massachusetts

This is a great late eighteenth or early nineteenth century green glazed red earthewnare jar from Bristol County, Massachusetts that recently surfaced from a private collection in New England. It is one of a small group of green glazed examples known to exist like this today. A similar taller jar sold a few years ago when Skinner sold Lew Scranton's collection at an onsite sale in Killingworth, Connecticut
