This is a short post announcing my latest research story just published today in Antiques & Auction News about a sewer tile vase manufactured in Ohio, titled, "Special Folk Art Ceramic Vase Made At The Maurice Knight Chemical Stoneware Plant in Akron, Ohio: Carl Funk's Sewer Tile Vase Is Dated 1935." The vase was made by a young worker likely as a Christmas gift for his newlywed wife. I think this is a fascinating story!
