Nonetheless, earlier this morning, I found another example in the cold weather while I walked around Todd's Farm Flea Market in Rowley, Massachusetts; the dealer told me that he had just cleaned out an old barn in West Gloucester, Massachusetts, and he found the feeder inside the barn.
The form, interior glaze and overall style of this red earthenware feeder is in keeping with the others that I have discovered in Massachusetts, in such Cape Ann communities as Annisquam, Beverly, Essex, Gloucester and Salem.
