A Nice 19th Century Red Earthenware Pitcher Discovered Today on the Mid-Coast of Maine

I would like to quickly show-and-tell a nineteenth-century red earthenware pitcher this evening, which I found while Christmas shopping on the mid-coast of Maine today. This particular object was discovered in a glass case in a shop in Wiscasset, Maine. The dealer told me that it was recently found in Portland, Maine; however, I believe that it was actually made closer to Essex County, Massachusetts during the circa 1780-1840 period. The characteristics that make me believe that this is where this pitcher was possibly made are the refinement of the product, the form, the handle and the glaze.
