The Lancaster, New Hampshire Historical Society posted today about my recent visit to study a Jacob Burrows (1757-1843) red earthenware jar in their collection. They also highlighted my upcoming project: a 700-to-800-page volume titled, A Monumental History: Stories of Red Earthenware Production in Western Massachusetts, the Berkshires, and Vermont—which will be my eleventh book.
