New Published Story: A Group of Important Objects From The Dodge Family, Portland, Maine

I'm excited to see my latest article about a group of objects that descended in the Dodge family of Portland, Maine published this week on page 6 of the August 5, 2022 issue of Antiques & the Arts Weekly. The article provides actual proof to where a type of red earthenware jar was made in the 1800s, which has been a subject of discussion for decades now - the debate has revolved around the origin of these jars, where they have been attributed to both Portland and Hollis, Maine. Although, current research has strongly suggested they were made in Portland, but this article provides actual documented proof. The article also shows some important needlework from the Dodge family.

These family treasures have not previously been shown or really known outside of the Dodge family until now - the objects have descended from the moment they were originally created to the current family member's ownership.
