Wonderful 19th Century Multi-Colored Slip-Decorated Red Earthenware Plate Recently Discovered in Arizona

This is an incredible large multi-colored slip-decorated nineteenth century red earthenware plate that I recently acquired from an antiques dealer in Arizona. Incredibly, this object was also just discovered at a flea market in Arizona. It's remarkable that a beautiful object, like this plate would show up in such a setting.

Nevertheless, I'm not going to get into the specifics about this object today, but it was likely made in the Mid-Atlantic region, possibly in southeastern Pennsylvania in the early-to-mid 1800s.

The back of this plate has been marked with an inscribed "10" - I am not sure what this mark means, but it is certainly possible that it may represent a merchant's order, among other meanings.
