Collectively, it was a diverse red earthenware collection that spanned makers from various regions; although, it appeared that the focus of the collection was slip decorated products that were made in Pennsylvania in the nineteenth-century.
I found that prices were strong, but there were also some bargains. The most desired objects were a pair of products that were made in southeastern Massachusetts around the start of the nineteenth-century. Respectfully, they sold for $12,000 and $5,000 each before any of the premiums were added.
I did bid. I bid through Bidsquire, which is an online platform that allows for real-time bidding. Ultimately, I bid through the Bidsquare website on my Apple computer and there was a person, who represented me in Pennsylvania. There is an added fee for this bidding option. This is the first time that I have used Bidsquire and I must admit that I am impressed with it. It's a lot better than some of the other websites that are also used for this objective.
