Preparations for Rob Hunter and Michelle Erickson's Visit

Rob Hunter, editor of Ceramics in America and accomplished ceramist, Michelle Erickson - will be visiting the Boston Archaeology Department today to meet with myself and City Archaeologist, Joe Bagley. We are going to discuss the Charlestown, Massachusetts and Faneuil Hall sites. It should prove to be an exciting day. Here are some pictures from yesterday, in preparation for today. Most of the artifacts represent redware found and potentially made in Charlestown, but additionally, there are examples of porcelain, salt & tin glazed stoneware, agate and tortoise shell wares representing artifacts from both sites.

Sorry in advance for the photo quality. The photos were quickly taken with my iPhone and I didn't put much effort into taking them. At the time, I didn't realize the photos were slightly out of focus.
